UPDATING OF UMP JSC EXECUTIVE BOARD COMPOSITION

In accordance with resolution of the meeting in absentia of UMP JSC Board of Directors No. 5 dated May 5, 2021, the composition of Ulba Metallurgical Plant Executive Board has been changed. Managing Director for Marketing – Director of the Center for Marketing and Product Marketing Strategies, Mr. Talgat B. Yerzhanov and Director of Uranium Operations, Mr. Konstantin A. Kuzmin entered into the composition of Executive Board.

Talgat B. Yerzhanov

In 2005, Talgat B. Yerzhanov graduated from L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, with a degree in «Law». From 2006 to 2008 he studied in Charles University in Prague, with a degree in International Economic and Political Studies. During the period from 2014 to 2015 he studied in University College London (UCL), with a degree in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment.

In 2005 he began his working career. Over the years, he was a specialist of the Representative Office of «Park of Nuclear Technologies» JSC, researcher in Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2011 he started the working career in «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC, where he worked at the position of Chief Expert of the Directorate for the Management of Mining and Metallurgical Assets, then Senior Manager of the Directorate for Asset Management of the Energy Sector. He was a member of the Strategic Planning Committee under the «NAC «Kazatomprom» JSC Board of Directors. In 2019 he joined «NAC «Kazatomprom» JSC for the position of Director of the Department for Business Development and Investment. By the order of UMP JSC Executive Board Chairman dated December 31, 2020, he was appointed to the position of Managing Director for Marketing – Director of the Center for Marketing and Product Marketing Strategies.

Konstantin A. Kuzmin

In 1999, Konstantin A. Kuzmin graduated from the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University, with a degree in «Non-ferrous metals metallurgy». From 2012 to 2014 he studied in the same university, with a degree in «Economics». After graduation from the university, in 1999 he began his working career in UMP, at the position of Operator of the Workshop «V», Uranium Operations. Then he worked as Shift Foreman of the Workshop «V», Process Engineer of the Powders production department of the Workshop «V», Head of the Workshop «R», Uranium Operations. Since April 2017, for the period of a temporarily absent employee replacement, he held a position of the Deputy Director for Operations, Uranium Operations. By the order of UMP JSC Executive Board Chairman No. 744 ЛС dated December 29, 2018, he was transferred to the position of Director of Uranium Operations.
