2015 – A Letter of Congratulation of Intertertifika-TUV LLC together with TÜV Thüringen on the successful completion of certification audit

Audit is Completed

UMP JSC successfully passed re-certification examination (audit) of the integrated management system (IMS) of quality, environment, health and safety at work for compliance with international standards ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2009, OHSAS 18001: 2007. Management system certification is the most important condition for successful business in the global market.
Within four days, from May 12 through 15, Intertertifika-TUV LLC Audit Team together with TÜV Thüringen (Moscow), consisting of seven people, conducted an audit of compliance with IMS in force at our company. Expert examination was carried out by Chief Auditors Vladimir Kachalov and Vasilyi Boytik, Auditors Dmitryi Bystrov, Maxim Zyryanov, Alexey Bogatyrev, Vladimir Bulanov and Darkhan Akhmetov. Supervision of auditors in the departments of the company was carried out by managers and specialists of Quality Director Office, Office of Director for Production Safety. All the main business areas (uranium, tantalum, niobium and beryllium), as well as all the processes of management system passed through the audit.

At the final meeting held as a result of the audit, it was noted that no deviations (critical remarks) were detected during the audit, therefore, the auditors will provide a clear recommendation to the certification body on the issuance of a new conformity certificate of current IMS to ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2009, OHSAS 18001: 2007. The certificate is issued for three years subject to successful completion of annual surveillance audits.
When summin up the results, it was also noted that during the audit, the auditors made two comments that were not systemic in nature, recommendations aimed at improving management system were provided. UMP JSC personnel were thanked for clear and well-coordinated work.
Despite the fact that UMP JSC management system already has a considerable history - the first certificate on quality management system was received in 1998 - and serious experience has been accumulated that allows to improve and successfully confirm validity of the certificate, that's no reason to rest on laurels. Further hard work to improve our processes and management system bringing it into the line with international standards of 2015 version is ahead.
