The company fabricates complex high-accurate equipment of carbon, stainless, chemically and corrosion and heat resistant steel and alloys for nuclear, mining, processing, chemical, gas and oil industry. The company also produces equipment made of polyethylene and polypropylene.

Ulba-FA Ltd. was established in 2015.
The program of atomic sector development in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2014 with development prospects until 2020 approved by the Government Resolution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated June 29, 2011 No. 728 determines the establishment of joint ventures for manufacturing fuel assemblies (hereinafter - FA) for NPP reactors of western design and for meeting the needs of atomic power engineering in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The entity with foreign participation- Ulba-FA Ltd. was established and registered as part of implementation of the Program in 2015 and in accordance with current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Ulba-FA Ltd. was established for manufacturing fuel assemblies and their components.

Volkovgeology Joint Stock Company has been in the structure of plants of NAC Kazatomprom JSC since 1997. Founders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and UMP JSC. Volkovgeology JSC is a successor of Volkov Geological Exploration Expedition in all areas of production activities, established on January 1, 1948, in accordance with the Order of the USSR Minister of Geology, with responsibilities for searching and prospecting uranium ores on the territory of Kazakhstan.
The main activity of the company is geological prospecting and exploration, conducting complex of geophysical research on mineral deposits, drilling and construction of exploration, hydrogeological, development and production wells, process wells, laboratory and analytical studies in the geological industry including those using precursors.
Volkovgeology JSC provides geological support for all NAC Kazatomprom JSC activities- from prospecting, exploration of uranium deposits to their commissioning in industrial operation, conducts process drilling for mining and development works at uranium mining enterprises of the company.
