UMP announced the results of the “Eco-Workshop: The Best Birdhouse!” contest
Ulba Metallurgical Plant announced the results of the children’s creative contest “Eco-Workshop: The Best Birdhouse!” dedicated to Children’s Day and the “Taza Kazakhstan – 2026” environmental campaign.
37 children of employees of UMP and Ulba-FA LLP took part in the contest, presenting 35 colorful and unusual designs. Each birdhouse stood out for its original design, thoughtful construction, and was created with a deep love for nature.
The winners in the “Most Original Design” category were Darina and Zakhar Bakhtins. Second place went to Diana Revutskaya, and third place to Maxim Shevchenko.
Arina Gonchar won the “Best Engineering Solution” category. Second place went to Alan Isakin, and third place to Veronika Ryapisova. The jury awarded special prizes to Emilia Revutskaya and Azalia Bekisheva.
All contest participants received certificates and cash prizes. Very soon, the birdhouses created by the children will adorn the territory of the plant and become a cozy home for birds – a symbol that caring for nature begins with simple yet important actions.
