Year of working professions: UMP supports young generations!
In January, UMP held an Open Day. As part of the Year of Working Professions, students studying in the Metallurgy and Technical Physics specialties at Easter-Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbaev learned about the history of the company, got information about plant vacancies, and step-by-step instructions on how to complete an internship and find employment at UMP.
During the event, they met Mr. Sergey Bezhetskiy, the Board Chairman, who spoke about his way in profession – starting as an operator and becoming the first director of the company, about the production activities of UMP, emphasizing that the plant does everything necessary to preserve the environment.
Also, a festival of professions was held at school No. 17 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, where the students presented sketches and stories about working professions. UMP supported the event by providing special work uniforms to the students.
In turn, the school director thanked Mr. Sergey Bezhetskiy, the UMP Board Chairman. This cooperation underlines the company's commitment to training qualified personnel and career guidance for young people.
