The Future is in Safe Hands
The UMP team took third place in the “Best Electrician of NAC Kazatomprom” competition in the “up to 1,000V” category among 17 teams of subsidiaries and affiliates! The team included plant employees: Denis Agrenich, Energy Center, Denis Alexandrov, Energy Center, and Khizatbek Avilmajin, Tantalum Operations.
Denis Alexandrov won the “Youngest Electrician” award. The corporate professional skills competition “Best Electrician” was held for the first time this year at the initiative of Kazatomprom’s Production Department as part of the Year of Blue-Collar Professions. It was held on June 12-13 at the UranEnergo Power Complex in Shieli village, Kyzylorda Region, Kazakhstan. The main goal of the event was to identify the best specialists, develop production competencies, strengthen team spirit, and improve interaction between electricians of Kazatomprom’s subsidiaries and affiliates.
In total, more than 50 specialists took part in the competition. The competition was held in two main areas: maintenance of electrical installations up to 1,000V and maintenance of electrical installations above 1,000V. Denis Agrenich performed best in the first stage, which involved testing. Denis Alexandrov was responsible for assembling the reverse circuit in the second stage. Khizatbek Avilmajin contributed throughout all stages of the competition. The team finished third overall by total points.
