Speed, Experience and Excitement
Sergey Tokarev, an Electrician specializing in repair and maintenance of beryllium production electrical equipment, and Anatolyi Miroshnichenko, Lathe Operator of Uranium Operations took part in the international championship of working professions, where experts from different countries met and competed for medals in a tense race for speed and accuracy.
The plant workers were among the best at High-Tech Skills Championship: Skills of the Future 2025. This year, the championship was held in Yekaterinburg and brought together more than 1,000 participants and experts from 17 countries and over 50 companies. 7QADAM Masters team, representing Samruk-Kazyna JSC portfolio companies such as NAC Kazatomprom JSC, NC KazMunayGas JSC, and KEGOC JSC, together with their mentors, won prizes in all eight competencies.
Anatolyi Miroshnichenko took second place in the "CNC Turning" category, while Sergey Tokarev also took second place in the "Electrical Installation" category.
Despite their different experiences and training backgrounds, both participants agree on one thing: such championships provide a rare opportunity to see the level of world-class specialists and test themselves in real professional conditions.
