A New Step in Training Future Metallurgists
The Higher Technical and Humanitarian College has opened a classroom for automated design of metallurgical processes; a modern educational space created with the support of the NAC Kazatomprom.
The event brought together representatives of Kazatomprom, Ulba Metallurgical Plant, the East Kazakhstan Department of Education, the college’s management, and, of course, the students themselves – those for whom this classroom was designed. The main emphasis has been placed on practice-oriented training: now, future specialists will be able to do more than just study theory; they will also be able to simulate real-world production processes.
Following the opening ceremony, the guests were given a tour of the classroom. The modern equipment allows students to perform calculations, work with digital data and develop the skills needed in the workplace.
The project marked another step toward strengthening the ties between education and industry, opening up more opportunities for students to advance professionally and launch successful careers.
