The Path to Mastery
From radio electronics and airborne forces to true mastery at UMP – Aleksandr Kuzmin’s childhood hobby has evolved into his professional calling and lifelong dedication.
He joined UMP in November 2022 as a 6th-category electrical technician for telephone station equipment. Within 2 years, Aleksandr upgraded his qualification to the 7th category, authored 5 successful rationalization proposals, received 4 commendations and was awarded a 2nd-degree certificate of honor by NAC Kazatomprom for winning the “Best Digital Solution in Production for 2024” nomination. In 2025, he was included in the successor pool and in July of this year, he was appointed Master for Repair and Operation of Communication Facilities at the Energy Center. His responsibilities include coordination and operational management of the telephone station, ensuring uninterrupted communications, analyzing the causes of technological failures and developing incident prevention measures. His core personal and professional values remain honesty, responsibility, high-quality execution of tasks and continuous development.
