Energy, Skill, Inspiration
At Ulba-FA LLP, Zhanat Urazova is known as a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer who has been entrusted with a crucial role at an international level. Outside of work, she is a happy mother of many children, an active sportswoman, a blogger and a creative individual.
Zhanat’s experience shows that nothing is impossible for a woman in the nuclear industry!
– During each shift, we carry out quality checks on between two and four fuel assemblies. But the final inspection is just the tip of the iceberg. We oversee the product throughout the entire production chain – from the very start of assembly right through to the inspection of the finished product. Our work requires attention to detail, a sense of responsibility and, of course, the ability to analyze the finer points,” notes Zhanat Urazova. “In 2025, we undertook an important mission – escorting fuel assemblies to China. I had the honor of representing our company at the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station in China. It was my first business trip abroad, and the first time I’d ever seen a nuclear power station in person. The delivery of the fuel assemblies went absolutely smoothly. It’s an experience I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
There’s also room for hobbies in life. To keep fit, Zhanat took up running and now regularly takes part in marathons and races. She also has a favorite hobby – sewing. She recently ran a creative challenge on Instagram called ‘Sewing with what I have’.
The nuclear industry demands precision, a systematic approach and a high sense of responsibility, but it is precisely these qualities that blend harmoniously with feminine sensitivity, flexibility and the ability to organize processes.
