The results of ‘Zhyl Kyzmetkeri 2026’ (‘Employee of the Year’) corporate recognition programme have been announced. Among the best employees of NAC ‘Kazatomprom’, who were honoured as part of Nuclear Industry Workers’ Day, were two representatives from UMP – Lira Topitonova and Pavel Yavkin.
This year, 253 employees from various subsidiaries and affiliated organizations of Kazatomprom competed for the title of ‘Employee of the Year’. This makes the success of the Ulba employees all the more valuable and significant, as they demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, responsibility and dedication to their company.
The winner in the industry category ‘Best Specialist in Technical Control’ (sub-category: ‘Product Quality Control and Assurance’) was Lira Topitonova, Head of Technical Control Office for Beryllium Products at Test Centre.
In the special ‘Mentor’ category, Pavel Yavkin, a 6th-grade multi-skilled machinist in Department No. 5 of Workshop No. 10 of Tantalum Operations, claimed a well-deserved victory.
The awards ceremony took place in Astana.
