Course for Cleanliness!
As part of the national ‘Taza Kazakhstan’ campaign and ‘Samuryqnama – 20 Good Deeds’ programme, factory workers organized large-scale community clean-up days.
The plant’s young personnel cleared rubbish from the banks of the Irtysh, restoring a tidy appearance to this favorite leisure spot for the town’s residents. The Ulba River was not overlooked either: personnel from various departments took part in cleaning up and collecting household waste along its banks.
They paid tribute to the heritage of our plant and the region whilst tidying up the area around the monument to V.P. Potanin. Personnel from the Service Centre cleared the lawns and the surrounding area.
At Ulbinochka nursery, plant personnel tidied up their designated area, collecting dead wood and small bits of rubbish to create a safe and comfortable space for the little ones.
The clean-up initiative was taken up by teams from various departments and subsidiary organizations. Teams from the service centre and the beryllium production unit carried out extensive work near their workshops.
Employees of Ulba-FA LLP and MASHZAVOD LLP also joined forces for the community clean-up day, contributing to the common cause.
A striking and symbolic highlight of the campaign was the planting of greenery. Young saplings have been planted near the Independence Monument, and our colleagues played an active part in their careful planting and maintenance.
