The "Electronic Work Permit" module of the "Production Safety Management" software package (PSM SP) has been implemented at Ulba Metallurgical Plant.
Work permits for high-risk operations are now issued in both paper and digital formats. All documents are registered and stored within the system. This solution enabled creation of unified database, reduced processing time, minimized the risk of errors, and expanded analytical capabilities.
The interface repeats the familiar document form, which allowed to minimize staff adaptation time.
Digitalization increases transparency of control over high-risk operations, accelerates data exchange between participants, and contributes to improvement of labor safety levels.
